Singer Nana, formerly of the group After School, is set to release her first solo album after 16 years since her debut.

Her agency Sublime announced on the 9th that Nana will release her solo album 'Seventh Heaven 16' on the 14th. This album is described as a work that encapsulates the trajectory Nana has built over the past 16 years and her current self.

The album title 'Seventh Heaven' refers to the highest tier of heaven while also being an idiomatic expression meaning 'the greatest happiness.' The day before, Nana revealed the album poster through her agency's official social media, informing fans of her solo debut.

The agency stated, "The release date of the album on the 14th coincides with Nana's birthday," adding, "To make the upcoming 16th anniversary of her debut and her birthday even more special, we have prepared a meaningful gift."

Nana made her first step into the music industry in 2009 as a member of the girl group After School. Through group activities, she released hit songs such as 'Bang' and 'Flashback,' and also participated in the unit Orange Caramel, showcasing unique concept songs like 'Magic Girl' and 'Catallena.'

In 2016, Nana expanded her territory into acting with her appearance in the drama 〈The Good Wife〉. Since then, she has solidified her position as an actress, receiving recognition for her acting skills in various works such as 〈Mask Girl〉 and 〈Omniscient Reader〉. This solo album is seen as a significant step in reaffirming her identity as a singer.
