‘2025 MBC College Song Festival’ 3MC Luxury Lineup Revealed for a Glamorous Return

‘2025 MBC College Song Festival - Ignite Youth’ will be held on October 3 at the National Korea Maritime University (Busan). Breaking a 13-year hiatus, it has garnered significant attention from many university student applicants since the participant recruitment stage, and the lineup of MCs, judges, and celebration stages has been revealed, raising expectations even higher.

First, the MCs will be Jang Do-yeon, Lee Jun-young, and Kim Min-ju. Comedian Jang Do-yeon, known for her stable hosting skills, is expected to add her unique wit, while actor Lee Jun-young, who has been active in dramas and OTT, will make his debut as an MC through this opportunity. Kim Min-ju, a former member of IZ*ONE, holds the record for the longest MC on ‘Show! Music Core’, so her hosting experience is expected to shine. The fresh combination of the three is anticipated to bring vitality to the stage.

The judging panel is filled with names representing the South Korean music industry. Music producer Yoon Sang, singer-songwriter Lee Jeok, performance director Park Kalin, band Daybreak's Lee Won-seok, power vocalist Lee Young-hyun, band musician Yook Joong-wan, and SG Wannabe's Kim Yong-jun have joined to form a strong 'dream team' that spans genres and generations. It already raises curiosity about how these judges with different musical colors and deep insights will evaluate the dreams of the university student participants.

The special stage lineup prepared to celebrate the revival of the College Song Festival is also glamorous. Dynamic Duo & SINCE, representing South Korean hip-hop, solo artist WOODZ, who has created a reverse-run myth, youth-sensitive singer-songwriter Lee Mu-jin, the talented band LUCY, global K-pop band Xdinary Heroes, 5th generation super rookie HITGS, and the uniquely charming rookie group idntt will all gather to further illuminate the stage of youth.

The production team stated, “The College Song Festival returning after 13 years will be more than just a competition; it will be a place to glimpse the future of the South Korean music industry,” and added, “Please look forward to the song of youth that will resonate once again with a lineup that unites all generations.”
