Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong Star in MBC Drama 'The Moon Rises Over the River' Premiering Next Month on the 31st

Actors Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong will star together in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 〈The Moon Rises Over the River〉. MBC announced on the 8th that this work will premiere on the 31st of next month.

In this romantic fantasy historical drama, Kang Tae-oh plays the role of Prince Lee Gang, who dreams of revenge. Kim Se-jeong portrays Park Dal-i, a merchant who has lost her memory.

The supporting cast is also splendidly composed. Lee Shin-young plays the role of Lee Un, the prince's cousin, while Hong Su-ju plays Kim Woo-hee, known as the most beautiful woman in Joseon. Jin Goo appears as the absolute power holder, Prime Minister Kim Han-cheol.

This work is attracting attention as it marks Kim Se-jeong's first historical drama challenge, who has been active in modern dramas such as 〈Business Proposal〉. Her counterpart, Kang Tae-oh, is returning to the historical genre for the first time in six years since 〈The Tale of Nokdu〉 in 2019.
