Lee Jun-young to Star in New Drama by the Original Writer of 'The Heirs'.. Cast in JTBC's 'New Employee Kang Hwa-jung'

Actor Lee Jun-young has been cast in the drama 〈New Employee Kang Hwa-jung〉.

Lee Jun-young will appear as Kang Yong-ho and Hwang Jun-hyun in the new JTBC drama 〈New Employee Kang Hwa-jung〉 (creator Kim Soon-ok / screenplay Hyun Ji-min / directed by Ko Hye-jin / produced by SLL, Corpus Korea), which is set to air in 2026.

〈New Employee Kang Hwa-jung〉 is a drama that tells the story of a reminder life where Kang Yong-ho, the chairman of the top conglomerate Choi Sung Group, known as the god of business, lives an unwanted second life due to an accident. It is based on the web novel written by writer San-gyeong, who penned the original story of 〈The Heirs〉, which achieved the highest viewership ratings for Korean miniseries in 2022. Notably, writer Kim Soon-ok, who has written representative Korean dramas such as 〈Penthouse〉 series and 〈The Temptation of Wife〉, participates as a creator, raising expectations.

In 'New Employee Kang Hwa-jung', Lee Jun-young plays Hwang Jun-hyun, a soccer player who unexpectedly experiences a collision accident right after joining the first division FC Choi Sung and swaps souls with the chairman of the conglomerate Choi Sung Group, Kang Yong-ho. The soul of Hwang Jun-hyun, swapped with the soul of Kang Yong-ho, begins to show unpredictable moves as he applies for a position as a new employee in a conglomerate instead of the dream stage of the Premier League, being an excellent CEO who established the Choi Sung Group, ranked 10th in the business world.
