
Actor Lee Jun-young proved he is a 'trend' by winning the Male Actor (Rising Star) category at the '2025 Brand of the Year' awards. This award was determined through a nationwide consumer vote held from June 30 to July 3, and Lee Jun-young was selected as a rising star with the active support of his domestic and international fans. The 'Brand of the Year' awards, organized by the Korea Consumer Forum, is celebrating its 23rd year this year, and this ceremony recorded the largest scale ever, with 3,085,743 participants and a total of 28,271,703 votes counted.
Lee Jun-young's activities this year have also been remarkable. He showcased a wide acting spectrum in various works, including the Netflix series 'Melodrama Movie' in February, 'Totally Deceived' in March, 'Weak Hero Class 2' in April, and the KBS2 drama '24-Hour Health Club'. From portraying a heinous villain to a cringeworthy romance and delightful comedic performances, he has renewed his characters in each work, leaving a strong impression on both the public and critics. As a result, Lee Jun-young was selected as the Male Actor (Rising Star) who shone this year, proving both his talent and popularity.
His solo fan meeting tour was also successfully held. Last month, starting in Seoul, he completed the 'Scene by JUNYOUNG' fan meetings in Taipei, Macau, and will conclude the Asia tour finale in Kuala Lumpur on August 30.
