'Can't Help It', Toronto International Film Festival Gala Red Carpet & Premiere Screening Successfully Concluded

Lee Byung-hun Becomes the First Korean Actor to Receive the Special Tribute Award

〈Can't Help It〉 has successfully concluded the red carpet and gala premiere screening at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival.

Invited to the Gala Presentations section of the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, the film 〈Can't Help It〉 held its premiere screening on September 8 (Monday) at 9:30 PM local time in Canada. Before the screening, director Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun, who walked the red carpet, responded to the intense media coverage with bright smiles and enthusiastically engaged with fans who had been waiting a long time for selfies and autographs, elevating the atmosphere on site.

Meanwhile, on this day, during the awards ceremony led by director Park Chan-wook, Lee Byung-hun received the Special Tribute Award, becoming the first Korean actor to do so. Lee Byung-hun, who received the Special Tribute Award given to individuals with outstanding achievements in the film industry, expressed his special thoughts, saying, "I have been hearing about the story of this film from director Park Chan-wook for 15 years, and I am finally able to present it on screen. I am confident that it is a must-see film. I hope the audience will be 'inevitably' drawn to this film as well."

The film 〈Can't Help It〉 is set to be released in Korea on September 24.
