'Elio' Confirmed for Disney+ Release on September 17

〈Elio〉 will be released on Disney+ on September 17.

Pixar Animation Studio's latest work 〈Elio〉 has announced its release date on its OTT platform Disney+ (Disney Plus). It will be available on September 17, approximately three months after its theatrical release in Korea on June 18.

〈Elio〉 depicts the story of a boy named Elio who feels like he is left alone in the world and unexpectedly meets aliens as Earth's representative. As Pixar Studio's 29th work, it unfortunately did not perform well at the box office, leading Pixar to focus more on sequels rather than original content.

Currently, Pixar Studio is set to release the original new film 〈Hoppers〉 and the new series installment 〈Toy Story 5〉 in 2026.
