The ‘Partial Amendment to the Content Industry Promotion Act’ proposed by Democratic Party member Min Hyung-bae defines content utilizing traditional cultural elements such as folklore, traditional games, and hanbok as ‘traditional fusion content’ and includes the basis for government support.

A so-called ‘K-Demon (K-Pop Demon Hunters) Act’ supporting K-content based on traditional cultural elements has been proposed. On the 10th, Democratic Party member Min Hyung-bae officially proposed the ‘Partial Amendment to the Content Industry Promotion Act’ containing this content. The amendment defines content utilizing traditional cultural elements such as folklore, traditional games, and hanbok as ‘traditional fusion content’ and includes the basis for government support in creation, production, distribution, and overseas expansion. Director Maggie Kang's Netflix animation 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 has gained worldwide popularity with a story about K-pop idol groups defeating evil spirits and protecting the world through song.

The 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 craze continued at President Lee Jae-myung's 100-day inauguration press conference held on the 11th. The presidential office distributed pin buttons with the image of Duffy, a popular character from 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉, to reporters entering the conference room, instructing them to attach it to their left chest. The presidential staff also wore ‘K-Demon’ pin buttons in different colors. The press conference, held at the Blue House guesthouse under the slogan '100 Days for Recovery, Growth for the Future', was broadcast live from 10 AM. A total of 152 reporters from both domestic and foreign media attended the conference, which was originally scheduled for 90 minutes but ended up lasting over 150 minutes due to additional questions.
