'K-Demon Hunters' Ahn Hyo-seop, "I don't want to play any character other than 'Jinu'... I am exactly Jinu"

Director Maggie Kang and Ahn Hyo-seop revealed the behind-the-scenes of 'K-Demon Hunters'.

On the 13th, Netflix Korea released a video titled 'Maggie Kang X Ahn Hyo-seop Behind-the-Scenes Interview' on their YouTube channel. On that day, director Maggie Kang of 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 and actor Ahn Hyo-seop, who voiced 'Jinu', shared stories from the film's production and casting.

Director Maggie Kang mentioned that she put a lot of effort into casting the voice actors for 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉, and even sent a personal letter to Ahn Hyo-seop. Ahn Hyo-seop said, "There are various reasons why I joined 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉, but I was especially touched by director Maggie Kang's heartfelt letter and warm interest." Meanwhile, director Maggie Kang revealed the casting story, saying, "I happened to be watching the drama 〈Business Proposal〉 that Ahn Hyo-seop starred in, and one of the scenes was where Hyo-seop was speaking English."

Additionally, when asked by a viewer about any character other than 'Jinu' that he was interested in, Ahn Hyo-seop replied, "I like Jinu," to which director Maggie Kang responded, "That's right. He is exactly Jinu," mentioning the high synchronization rate between 'Saja Boys Jinu' and Ahn Hyo-seop.
