Rock band Guckkasten is returning with a studio album after 11 years. Their agency, Interpark Entertainment, announced that Guckkasten will release their 3rd studio album 'AURUM' at 6 PM on the 18th.

This is the first time Guckkasten is presenting a studio album since their 2nd album 'FRAME' in 2014, marking an 11-year gap. The album title 'AURUM' means gold in Latin, and etymologically signifies 'shining dawn,' according to the agency.

The agency described this work as "an album that begins a new chapter for Guckkasten."

The album includes double title tracks 'ROLLER' and 'KICK OUT,' along with a total of 21 songs including 'Kairos,' 'Angstblüte,' and 'Cup.' Notably, 'ROLLER' will also feature a remix version that incorporates traditional Korean music.

Guckkasten is also showcasing various interdisciplinary projects alongside their music activities. They are collaborating with sculptor Ji Yong-ho to create exhibition sculptures that convey the messages of the 21 songs. Additionally, they are hosting an online extended reality (XR) exhibition themed around the album titled 'AURUM XR Exhibition.'

Guckkasten is also planning to hold a solo concert at the end of the year.
