Tving will exclusively live broadcast all matches of the 2025-2026 LG Electronics Professional Basketball starting with the 'Open Match Day' on September 20 (Saturday).
This season will kick off with a demonstration match called 'Open Match Day' held from September 20 (Saturday) to 28 (Sunday) for two weeks. The regular league will continue from October 3 (Friday) to April 8 (Wednesday) next year, with the top six teams competing for the new champion through playoffs and the championship match.
The regular league consists of a total of 270 matches, with each team playing 54 matches. On weekdays, one game will be scheduled at 7 PM, and on weekends, two games will be arranged at 2 PM and 4:30 PM, enhancing the fun of weekend basketball. Notably, the number of games has decreased compared to last season, allowing for longer intervals between games for each team, making it easier for players to manage their stamina, and the interval between weekend games has also increased by 30 minutes, significantly reducing the inconvenience of overlapping early matches.
In particular, the official opening match on October 3 (Friday) will be a return match between Changwon LG and Seoul SK, who faced each other in last season's championship match, drawing intense interest from basketball fans.
Tving is expanding its fandom as a sports OTT platform, equipped with a sports lineup that includes not only the KBL regular league but also the KBO league, UFC, and the four major tennis tournaments.
