An online fraud case using Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) tickets as bait has occurred, prompting police to launch an investigation.

On the 22nd, the Haeundae Police Station in Busan announced that they are investigating reports of ticket fraud related to the Busan International Film Festival. According to the police, on the 17th, a victim identified as A contacted a seller after seeing a post about ticket transfers for popular screenings in a public chat room on a portal site and deposited extra money, but the seller disappeared, resulting in a loss.
