With just one day before its domestic release, it recorded pre-sales of 111,406 tickets, generating buzz by surpassing the pre-sales of 〈Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet〉, 〈F1 The Movie〉, and 〈Jurassic World: Dominion〉 as of 9 AM on the Monday of its opening week. 〈Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc〉 is a film depicting the explosive encounter between the boy 'Denji', who becomes 'Chainsaw Man' through a contract with the chainsaw devil 'Pochita', and the mysterious girl 'Reze'.

The number of pre-sale viewers as of the Monday of its opening week is 77,502, significantly outpacing the popular animation 〈Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet〉 (36,048 viewers), which recorded 730,000 viewers, as well as the long-running 〈F1 The Movie〉 (67,243 viewers) and the hot topic 〈Jurassic World: Dominion〉 (53,283 viewers), indicating a box office sensation is on the horizon.
This work adapts the most popular episode from the original series, 'Reze Arc', showcasing the explosive action and romance between 'Denji' and 'Reze'. In particular, following the TV series, the renowned Japanese animation studio MAPPA has participated in the production, promising dynamic camera work and overwhelming animation for an unprecedented battle action experience.
