The Japanese animation 〈Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle Arc〉 (hereafter 〈Infinity Castle Arc〉) has surpassed 5 million viewers in just 39 days since its release, breaking domestic box office records for Japanese animation.

According to the integrated ticketing system, the cumulative audience for 〈Infinity Castle Arc〉, which was released on the 22nd of last month, reached 5.01 million as of the 30th. This achievement makes it the third film this year to surpass 5 million viewers, following 〈My Daughter is a Zombie〉 (5.62 million) and 〈F1: The Movie〉 (5.14 million).

Considering the current trend, it is becoming increasingly likely that 〈Infinity Castle Arc〉 will surpass 〈Suzume's Door-Locking〉 to become the number one Japanese animation at the box office. It has already surpassed the final audience of 〈The First Slam Dunk〉 at 4.9 million, placing it second in all-time Japanese animation box office rankings.
