Yangpa, 18 Years After Regular Album...Yoo Tae-oh Appears in Title Track Music Video

Singer Yangpa is returning with a regular album after 18 years. The agency Milk and Honey announced on the 29th that Yangpa will release the first part of her 6th regular album, 'Homecoming', on the 2nd of next month.

This is Yangpa's first regular album release in 18 years since her 5th album 'The Windows Of My Soul' in May 2007. It is also a comeback about a year after the release of the single '5:55' last December.

The agency explained, "This album, presented at the time of her 28th anniversary of debut, carries a message of returning to the essence of music, just like the title suggests," adding, "Yangpa participated in the lyrics and composition of all tracks."

The production of this album involved collaborators such as Cloud, Urban Zakapa's Kwon Soon-il, James Son, and Hong Kong producer Alex Fung. Hong Kong R&B diva Janice Vidal collaborated on a duet.

The title track 'The Fold of Time' is produced as an oriental ballad that modernly interprets Yangpa's unique traditional ballad style. It has been evaluated that the emotions captured in a simple manner leave a long-lasting impression. Actor Yoo Tae-oh from the movie 〈Past Lives〉 appears in the title track music video.

To celebrate the release of her 6th regular album, Yangpa is set to hold a nationwide tour concert starting in Seoul on the 8th of next month.
