'Master of the World' Script Book Released! Experience Director Yoon Ga-eun's Deep and Rich Film World in Writing!

The script book for the film 〈Master of the World〉 is published ahead of surpassing 80,000 viewers. 〈Master of the World〉 is a film that depicts the story of an enigmatic eighteen-year-old high school girl, 'Juin', who refuses to participate in a signature campaign involving the entire student body, after which she begins to receive mysterious notes. This is the latest work from director Yoon Ga-eun, who directed 〈Our Times〉 and 〈Our Home〉, after six years. Before its release, it received the spotlight by being invited to the competition section of the Toronto International Film Festival as the first and only Korean film, and swept two awards at the Pingyao International Film Festival, as well as winning the International Federation of Film Critics Award at the Warsaw International Film Festival.

Unlike the script book for 〈Our Times〉 which was published to coincide with its 10th anniversary, this 〈Master of the World〉 script book was released in time for its premiere. The script book for 〈Master of the World〉 began pre-sales online at the three major bookstores on November 3, and within hours, it reached number one on Aladin's 'Current Best' list and number three on Kyobo Bookstore's real-time bestsellers, confirming the enthusiastic response from audiences towards the film translated into the script book. In particular, this script book includes unreleased scenes that were regrettably excluded during the editing stage, providing a different perspective from the film, as well as unreleased film stills, offering a variety of visual experiences. Director Yoon Ga-eun expressed her thoughts upon the release of the script book, saying, "I am curious about what discoveries the audience who has already watched the film will make when they read this script book in reverse. I sincerely hope it will be a delightful experience diving into the world of Juin."
