As the film 〈The World of Love〉 continues its long run, you can watch director Yoon Ga-eun's short film 〈Sprout〉 at CGV.
CGV announced on the 10th that it will screen director Yoon Ga-eun's short film 〈Sprout〉 as the sixth work in its short film screening project 'SHORTS HOUSE', following the films 〈Our Body〉 and 〈Our Home〉.
Yoon Ga-eun's 2013 work 〈Sprout〉 captures the lovely journey of a seven-year-old girl named Bori, who ventures out of her home for the first time to buy bean sprouts in place of her busy mother on her grandfather's memorial day. It has received acclaim at major film festivals around the world, including the Silver Bear at the Generation K Plus section of the 64th Berlin International Film Festival, delicately capturing small moments of everyday life with a warm perspective and delivering deep emotional impact.
To celebrate the screening of 〈Sprout〉, CGV will give away A3-sized English posters to the first audience members until supplies last. The film will be screened nationwide at all art houses starting from the 12th, with a running time of 20 minutes and a ticket price of 3,000 won.
