Netflix has confirmed the release schedule for the globally successful 〈Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War〉 Season 2. Set to be exclusively released on December 16, Season 2 is generating excitement with the participation of top culinary experts.

〈Black and White Chef〉 is a survival format cooking entertainment program where unknown talented 'black spoon' chefs compete against star 'white spoon' chefs solely based on their cooking skills. Season 1, released last year, made headlines by achieving global number one for three consecutive weeks in the non-English show category, marking a first for Netflix Korean entertainment.

Among the cast revealed in the Season 2 trailer is Chef Lee Joon, who holds 2 Michelin stars, along with Chef Son Jong-won, who has earned a Michelin star in both Korean and Western cuisine. Notably, Master Monk Seonjae, designated as Korea's first master of temple cuisine, and Chef Hu Deok-juk, who has dedicated 57 years to Chinese cuisine, are also set to appear, adding depth to the program.

Meanwhile, Baek Jong-won, the representative of The Born Korea, who served as a judge in Season 1, has made a minimal appearance in this trailer. Baek has been on hiatus from broadcasting activities since May due to controversies regarding origin labeling and agricultural law, but he made his return to television the day before through MBC 〈Chef of Antarctica〉.

〈Black and White Chef Season 2〉 will be released simultaneously worldwide on Netflix next month on the 16th.
