This shows that the themes of domestic violence and women's solidarity resonate universally across cultures.

Lee Yoo-mi and Jeon So-nee star in this series, which is based on the bestselling novel 'Naomi and Kanako' by Japanese author Hideo Okuda. The story compellingly depicts the process of Eun-soo (played by Jeon So-nee), who lives with her father's domestic violence trauma, and Hee-soo (played by Lee Yoo-mi), who suffers from her husband's violence, as they come to understand each other's pain and conspire to make extreme choices.
