The international relief and development NGO World Vision appointed actress Lee Se-hee as an ambassador on the 21st at the World Vision headquarters located in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Ambassador Lee Se-hee, who visited the World Vision project site in Burundi last October, experienced the importance of sharing by directly witnessing the reality of the children. This appointment is the first step in conveying a message of hope to children and widely promoting the value of sharing, continuing from the feelings she experienced on-site.
Additionally, she plans to participate in World Vision's '1000 Girls Campaign' starting in January next year, supporting African girls at risk of child marriage and engaging in activities to promote girl protection and community development projects.
Ambassador Lee Se-hee stated, "I cannot forget the pure smiles of the children I met in Burundi," and added, "I felt that sharing ultimately connects people, and I will actively participate in activities that convey hope to children together with World Vision in the future."
Lee Se-hee has proven her wide acting spectrum through dramas such as 'Hospital Playlist', 'Gentleman and Lady', and 'Quiet Sales', and is currently appearing as Park Ha-young in the JTBC drama 'The Story of Manager Kim Working at a Large Company in Seoul'.
