After the performance, judge Carrie Ann Inaba couldn't hide her excitement, praising, "This is the best freestyle routine I've seen in the 20-year history of sitting at the DWTS judges' table."
That day, Jordan Chiles' team finished the season in 3rd place based on the combined results of judges' scores and text votes. Jordan expressed, "I wasn't even sure if I would make it to the finals, but just hearing people say our performance is 'the best ever' means more than winning."

She continued, "At first, I thought it was just a casual comment, but soon after, Normani's manager called and said, 'She means it. She really wants to participate,' and it became a reality," sharing the behind-the-scenes story.
For Normani, this stage was also special. Having participated in Season 24 in 2017 and finishing in 3rd place, she showcased her unblemished dance skills on the same stage exactly 8 years later. Normani expressed her affection on Instagram, saying, "Jordan, you're my brother. I'm proud to share the stage with you."
