K-pop group Stray Kids expressed their determination to "quietly walk our own path" after achieving 8 consecutive weeks at the top of the 'Billboard 200' chart.
On the 1st, Stray Kids, through their agency JYP Entertainment, humbly shared their thoughts on their latest album 'Do It' achieving 8 consecutive No. 1s on the U.S. Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200', saying, "I can't believe it."
The members stated, "First and foremost, we think of our members and our fandom 'Stay' who always give us great strength," and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to fans for always supporting their choices and being the compass on their path.
They continued, "Thank you for making us artists that can be proud to Stay," and vowed, "We will continue to quietly move forward while maintaining our own color."
Stray Kids established an unprecedented record by having all 8 albums, starting with 'ODDINARY' in 2022, followed by 'MAXIDENT', '★★★★★', '樂-STAR', 'ATE', '合·HOP', 'KARMA', and now 'Do It', reach the top of the 'Billboard 200'.
As a result, they now hold three records simultaneously: the most No. 1s by a K-pop artist on 'Billboard 200', achieving consecutive No. 1s for all albums since their chart debut, and being the group with the most No. 1s on 'Billboard 200' since 2000.
