
The highly anticipated film 〈Hamnet〉 has confirmed its release in Korea in February 2026.
〈Hamnet〉 is the latest work by director Chloe Zhao, who directed 〈Nomadland〉, based on the novel of the same name. It stars Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. It has been highly anticipated even before its release, winning audience awards at major film festivals including the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, the London Film Festival, and the San Diego International Film Festival.
Such 〈Hamnet〉 will be released in Korea in February 2026. With the announcement of the release schedule, an image was shared indicating the film's prestige, announcing its nominations in 6 categories for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards. 〈Hamnet〉 was also nominated in a total of 11 categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor, at the 31st Critics' Choice Awards held on December 6 (local time).
The work 〈Hamnet〉 depicts the hidden story behind the creation of 'Hamlet', one of William Shakespeare's four great tragedies, and is set to be released in February 2026.
