Park Na-rae's 'Injection Aunt' Controversy... MBC Deletes Video of Kim Jang Episode from 'I Live Alone'

As the suspicion of illegal medical services involving broadcaster Park Na-rae (40) and her 'injection aunt' spreads, the MBC entertainment program 〈I Live Alone〉 has urgently made some controversial videos private. At the same time, singer Jeong Jae-hyung's side has distanced themselves, stating, "We are unrelated to the incident."

According to MBC's official YouTube channel on the 10th, several videos from the December 13th episode of 〈I Live Alone〉 featuring Park Na-rae and Jeong Jae-hyung's kimjang segment have been switched to private status.

In that episode, Park Na-rae and singer-songwriter Jeong Jae-hyung were shown making 80 cabbages for kimjang. During the broadcast, after finishing the kimjang, Jeong Jae-hyung mentioned, "I need to make an IV reservation for tomorrow too," to which Park Na-rae responded, "Oh, oppa, let's make an IV reservation together."

This scene was released as a clip titled 'Park Na-rae X Jeong Jae-hyung making an IV reservation?!' on various YouTube channels including 'MBC Entertainment', but it was made private recently amid the controversy.

〈I Live Alone〉, 〈Save Me, Holmes〉 and various other entertainment programs have gained popularity among the public, and Park Na-rae was embroiled in controversy on the 4th due to allegations of abuse from former managers. Following this, suspicions arose that she received illegal medical services such as IV injections and proxy prescriptions from a person known as 'injection aunt', leading to an escalation of the scandal.

Jeong Jae-hyung, who appeared in the private video, has clearly stated that he is unrelated to the controversy.

Jeong Jae-hyung's agency, Antenna, stated in a press release, "To prevent further misunderstandings regarding the controversial entertainment broadcast, we clearly state that we are entirely unrelated to this matter," emphasizing that they have no acquaintance with 'injection aunt' and have never met her.

Currently, a report has been filed with the Gangnam Police Station through the National Petition Center for violations of the Narcotics Control Act, Medical Law, and Pharmacy Law against Park Na-rae and 'injection aunt'.

Im Hyun-taek, former president of the Korean Medical Association, has reported 'injection aunt' to the prosecution for violations of the Medical Law, and the association has also expressed that this is a matter of violating medical and pharmacy laws that seriously threaten public health. The Ministry of Health and Welfare is also reportedly reviewing an administrative investigation.
