Comedian Park Na-rae, at the center of controversy over abuse allegations and illegal medical practices, has announced a complete suspension of her broadcasting appearances.

On the 8th, Park Na-rae officially stated through her SNS, "I have decided to stop all broadcasting activities until all issues are completely resolved."

She explained her reason for the suspension, saying, "As a comedian whose job is to bring laughter to the public, I can no longer cause harm to my colleagues working on the programs I appear in." As a result of this decision, Park Na-rae is expected to leave major entertainment programs such as MBC 〈I Live Alone〉 and tvN 〈Amazing Saturday〉.

Regarding the recent revelations from former managers, she clarified that it stemmed from mutual misunderstandings and distrust, and that she resolved this through direct conversation.

Park Na-rae stated, "In early November, two managers who felt like family suddenly resigned, and until recently, I had not had the opportunity to talk directly with them, which deepened the misunderstandings," adding, "Yesterday, I was finally able to meet with my former managers and resolve the misunderstandings and distrust that had built up."

Nevertheless, I still think everything is my fault and I am deeply reflecting on it," she added, "I sincerely bow my head and deeply apologize to everyone who has believed in and supported me during this time."

Park Na-rae, a graduate of KBS's 21st public recruitment for comedians, gained public popularity through entertainment programs such as MBC 〈I Live Alone〉 and 〈Homes Under the Hammer〉.

She won the Grand Prize at the 2019 MBC Entertainment Awards and was named the winner of the Best Female Entertainer Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards in 2020.

Park Na-rae, who was continuing her activities as a top female entertainer, found herself at the center of controversy when allegations of abuse from former managers were made public on the 4th.

Additionally, further allegations arose that she received illegal medical procedures and proxy prescriptions from a person known as 'Injection Aunt', expanding the fallout.

Both sides have begun legal actions, escalating the conflict.

Park Na-rae's side has filed a complaint against her former managers for extortion and plans to file additional charges for embezzlement.

The former managers have also filed a lawsuit against Park Na-rae for special injury and other charges, claiming that she misused company funds for personal use, including for her ex-boyfriend, and reported her for violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement).

On that day, Lim Hyun-taek, the former president of the Korean Medical Association, reported 'Injection Aunt' to the prosecution for violating medical laws, claiming that Park Na-rae is also an accomplice.
