Park Na-rae 'Illegal Medical Allegations', Assigned to Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office... Full-scale Investigation Commences

Broadcaster Park Na-rae has had a complaint filed regarding allegations that she received medical services from a woman known as 'IV Lady', which has been assigned to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office for a full-scale investigation.

According to reports on the 16th, the Food and Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office has confirmed that it is investigating a case filed by Im Hyun-taek, the former president of the Korean Medical Association, against a woman referred to as 'IV Lady' for violations of the Medical Law and other charges, which was assigned on the 12th.

Former President Im is reported to have submitted a complaint through the National Complaint Center, alleging that the woman illegally obtained pharmaceuticals and committed unlicensed medical acts. Park Na-rae is under suspicion of having received illegal medical services such as intravenous drip treatments from this individual.

Former President Im has additionally filed a complaint against Park Na-rae regarding allegations that she received medical services from another individual known as 'IV Lady', who is not the same person as the first, for violations of the Medical Law and other charges. This case has also been assigned to the Food and Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office the day before.

The Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office is a key prosecutorial office specializing in food and drug crimes, investigating various medical cases. Major medical crime cases, such as illegal rebates from pharmaceutical companies, unauthorized sales of pharmaceuticals, and proxy surgeries by employees of medical device companies, have been processed here and sent to trial.

The controversy surrounding Park Na-rae began on the 4th with revelations of abuse by former managers, and it has expanded with additional allegations of illegal medical practices.
