Tving, Exclusive OTT Broadcast of All Matches for 2026 WBC... Korea-Japan Match on March 7

The domestic online video service (OTT) platform Tving announced on the 17th that it has secured exclusive OTT live broadcasting rights for all matches of the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC).

Tving stated, "Based on our rich experience in broadcasting KBO League and producing related programs, we plan to exclusively live broadcast all matches of the 2026 WBC to provide baseball fans with the best viewing experience." They added, "We will also introduce innovative content such as 'fandom broadcasting' and 'live sound broadcasting' that differentiates from existing broadcasts."

The 2026 WBC will be held from March 5 to 17 next year in Japan, the United States, and Puerto Rico over a total of 13 days.

The Korean national team, placed in Group C of the tournament's first round, will play consecutive matches against the Czech Republic (March 5), host country Japan (March 7), Taiwan (March 8), and Australia (March 9) at Tokyo Dome in Japan. If they finish in the top 2 of Group C, they will earn a spot in the second round held on the U.S. mainland.
