"Forget the pure girl from the Vault. Episodes 4 and 5 will be ones to watch out for." Amazon Prime Video's mega hit 'Fallout' has returned to a darker and rougher wasteland. Star Ella Purnell hinted at shocking developments in the middle of the season.
Released on the 17th (local time), 'Fallout' Season 2 depicts Lucy (Ella Purnell) on her journey to New Vegas with the ghoul (Walton Goggins) in search of her father Hank.
◆ "A terrifying first for me as an actor"
At the London premiere, Ella Purnell pointed to Episodes 4 and 5 as the highlights of Season 2. She confessed, "In these two episodes, you will see a side of Lucy that no one expected, not even me, and as an actor, I felt terrifying to try something new for the first time."
This hints at the process of Lucy, who tried to maintain her 'goodness' as a Vault resident, becoming tainted by the harshness of the wasteland. Showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet suggested that "the wasteland will force Lucy to cross moral boundaries," indicating that her journey with the ghoul will not be smooth.
◆ 'Fallout' Returns to California, Sailing to Season 3
Thanks to the massive success of Season 1 (the second highest viewership in Prime Video history), 'Fallout' has taken flight in its production environment. The production team left places like New York and filmed Season 2 in Los Angeles, California, the game's setting. The California Film Commission approved $25 million in tax credits for Season 2 and $42 million for the already confirmed Season 3, providing full support.
'Fallout' Season 2, which released its first episode on the 16th, will invite fans worldwide to the wasteland with new episodes every week until February next year.
