Byun Woo-seok Donates 100 Million Won to Severance Hospital and 100 Million Won to Vulnerable Women and Youth

Actor Byun Woo-seok has donated a total of 200 million won for the New Year.

According to Severance Hospital at Yonsei University on the 2nd, actor Byun Woo-seok donated 100 million won on the 1st for the treatment support of pediatric patients. Byun Woo-seok stated, "I am happy to be able to support the pediatric patients in regaining their health and to help the pediatric patients and their families move towards a happy future," and added, "I hope this donation will be a practical help for treatment and recovery, and I will continue to practice sharing in the future." Byun Woo-seok also donated 300 million won to Severance Hospital last year.

Earlier, on the 1st, Byun Woo-seok donated 100 million won to the international development cooperation NGO G Foundation to support vulnerable women and youth in the country. This donation was made to help vulnerable women and youth in the country who are struggling with economic difficulties in obtaining menstrual products and creating a hygienic environment, so they can maintain a safe and healthy daily life. Byun Woo-seok expressed that he decided to donate with the hope that women and youth can fully guarantee their menstrual rights and spend their daily lives comfortably even during their menstrual periods.

Meanwhile, Byun Woo-seok is set to meet viewers in the first half of this year through the MBC drama 〈21st Century Great Lady〉.
