'Eternal Sunshine' 4K Remaster Re-release... Viewing at Lotte Cinema on January 21

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, 〈Eternal Sunshine〉 is being re-released in a 4K remastered version.

On the 2nd, Lotte Cinema confirmed the 4K remaster re-release of the film 〈Eternal Sunshine〉 on January 21, and released the poster. The main poster features the phrase, "Please, let this memory remain," visually expressing the essence of love that does not disappear even when erased, emphasizing the film's message. This screening is made possible again in winter 2026, thanks to the audience's response to the 4K remastered version that was exclusively released on December 18, 2024.

The film 〈Eternal Sunshine〉, which first premiered in 2005, delicately unravels the essence of love and separation within the sci-fi setting of erasing memories, and is a work that is discussed every winter. Known as a representative work of French director Michel Gondry, this film stars Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, with Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, and Elijah Wood adding emotional depth.
