Disney+’s popular series 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' has given fans the best gift by confirming the release of Season 3 before the excitement of Season 2 has even faded.
According to Disney+ on the 22nd (Korean time), the first video for Season 3 was unexpectedly revealed through the ending credits of the Season 2 finale released on the 21st. The production team officially stated through subtitles that "Season 3 will be released in 2026".
◆ Percy and Annabeth, Romantic Vibes?
The released cookie video was enough to excite original fans. It featured the main characters Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries) attending a school dance party together. As Steven Sanchez's sweet song 'Until I Found You' played, the scene of Annabeth leading Percy to the dance floor and dancing together hinted that their relationship had deepened.
◆ Production Speed Has Rapidly Increased
Unlike the long gap of two years between Seasons 1 and 2, Season 3 is expected to be available in less than a year. Carrie Burke, president of 20th Television, stated, "I’m glad we can present Season 3 within a year. Fans won’t have to wait that long anymore." In fact, the production team has been filming Season 3 in Vancouver since August 2025 and is set to wrap up filming in March.
◆ 'The Titan's Curse' Begins
Season 3 will cover the third book of Rick Riordan's original novels, 'The Titan's Curse'. Centered around the kidnapping of the goddess Artemis and Annabeth, it will depict Percy and his friends' dangerous adventure to rescue them. New faces are also generating excitement. Daphne Keen, known for the movie 'Logan', will play Artemis, and Levi Kriesopoulos will join as Nico di Angelo, a popular character from the original work, bringing vitality to the show.
