OTT service Disney+ announced today (23rd) that it will release 〈Avatar: The New Age – A Special Edition of 20/20〉 (hereafter 〈Avatar: The New Age〉). Starting with 〈Avatar〉, which holds the record for the number one worldwide box office immortal, and last year's 〈Avatar: The Way of Fire〉, 〈Avatar: The New Age – A Special Edition of 20/20〉 is a documentary that deeply illuminates the cultural and technological impact left by the 〈Avatar〉 series.

Director James Cameron shares the background and production process of the series in the documentary, explaining how this series has established itself as a timeless work. Additionally, interviews with key cast members such as Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Kate Winslet, along with an interview with Una Chaplin, who left a strong impression as 'Varang' in 〈Avatar: The Way of Fire〉, will also be revealed. Furthermore, the behind-the-scenes work of Grammy-winning artist Miley Cyrus, who performed the ending credit song 'Dream As One' nominated for Best Original Song at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, will be added to provide a rich viewing experience.
