Director Lee Byung-hun of 'Extreme Job' to Create Short Drama...'Dad is a Male Friend' to be Released on February 4 on Lezhin Snack

Director Lee Byung-hun is taking on a short drama.

Lezhin Entertainment will officially launch a new vertical short drama platform, Lezhin Snack, on the 4th of next month, and the lineup of production staff participating in the short drama is attracting attention. In particular, the short drama 〈Dad is a Male Friend〉 will be released on February 4 on Lezhin Snack and is a work in which director Lee Byung-hun, who directed the ten million movie 〈Extreme Job〉 and the drama 〈Melodrama is My Nature〉, participated in the script and direction.

〈Dad is a Male Friend〉 is a romantic comedy short drama that depicts the story of a male friend and a female friend who, despite not being in a romantic relationship or married, end up co-parenting. 〈Dad is a Male Friend〉 will unfold various episodes in a short-form format as the two, who remained in an ambiguous friendship, unexpectedly form a parenting alliance, featuring actors Kim Shin-bi, Choi Hyo-joo, and others.

Lezhin Snack will be available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store starting February 4 (Wednesday), and from that day, all episodes of 〈Dad is a Male Friend〉 can be enjoyed.
