The film 〈Princess Mononoke〉, which received much love last September with IMAX and 4K remastering, is generating excitement with its confirmed Dolby Cinema screening on February 18.

The epic saga 〈Princess Mononoke〉, where 'Ashitaka', cursed by the god of disaster, meets 'San' who shares a fate with the forest, depicts the struggle for coexistence between humans and nature, and is set to provide the most advanced viewing experience with expanded visuals and sound starting February 18 in Dolby Cinema.

This re-release marks the first Dolby Cinema screening of 〈Princess Mononoke〉, delivering the emotions and messages of the work anew through deeper contrasts and immersive sound. The Dolby Cinema, available only at Megabox, implements Dolby's premium HDR video technology, 'Dolby Vision®', to achieve rich contrast and detailed color representation, and the next-generation immersive sound technology 'Dolby Atmos®' to convey everything from the whispers of the forest to the tension of battle scenes and the emotions flowing in silence with vivid sound. This offers an experience that expands the world of 〈Princess Mononoke〉 through the audience's entire senses, unlike the IMAX screenings that focused on screen size.

In particular, the two newly released posters for this Dolby Cinema release attract attention with their different atmospheres. One poster features San riding Moro against a night backdrop, showcasing the character's solemnity and determined energy, leaving a strong impression. The other poster captures the moment when Ashitaka and Yakuru gaze at each other, embodying the connection between the two beings and the unique emotions of the work. The film 〈Princess Mononoke〉 will meet audiences across the country in premium Megabox screenings, including Dolby Cinema, Dolby Vision + Atmos theaters, and Dolby Atmos theaters through this re-release.
