'Such an Intimate Betrayer' Yoo Eui-tae Joins Short Drama 'The Time of the Guardian'

Actor Yoo Eui-tae is set to appear in a short drama.

According to his agency Noon Company on the 30th, Yoo Eui-tae has joined the cast as the lead in the new work 〈The Time of the Guardian〉 on the vertical short drama platform 'Lezhin Snack'. 〈The Time of the Guardian〉 is a mystery thriller that depicts the story of the brother Won-il (Yoo Eui-tae) who discovers clues in a mysterious secret community application used by his sister after her sudden death, as he tracks down hidden truths. In the drama, Yoo Eui-tae plays the role of Won-il, who cannot accept the death of his sister Da-hyun (Joo Ye-rim) and delves into the truths hidden in her phone, leading the narrative.

As Yoo Eui-tae approaches the case, he is expected to portray the shocking secrets he encounters and the complex inner turmoil of the character with his unique dense emotional line. Having previously showcased strong performances in dramas like 〈Paper Moon〉, 〈Nam Nam〉, and 〈Such an Intimate Betrayer〉, viewers are keenly interested in the new face he will present in this work.

〈The Time of the Guardian〉 is set to be released worldwide on February 4th through Lezhin Snack.
