Disney+ 'Battle of Fates 49' to be Released on the 11th Without Editing Park Na-rae... Excluding Promotions

Comedian Park Na-rae will appear in the Disney+ original variety show 〈Battle of Fates 49〉 which has been finally decided to air without editing her scenes.

Disney+ announced on the 4th that the original variety show combining survival and shamanism, 〈Battle of Fates 49〉, will be released on the 11th.

The production team explained, "〈Battle of Fates 49〉 is a survival format variety program where the competition narrative of a large number of participants is key," adding, "Park Na-rae will appear as one of the several panelists."

〈Battle of Fates 49〉 is a survival variety program where 49 fate masters gather to test their destinies through various missions. Celebrities participating as panelists include broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo, actress Park Ha-sun, singer and broadcaster Shin Dong, and former announcer Kang Ji-young.

Park Na-rae announced a suspension of her broadcasting activities due to allegations of manager abuse and controversies over illegal medical practices at the end of last year. Consequently, this program, which had already completed filming and was in post-production aiming for a release in the first half of this year, has been undergoing internal discussions regarding editing.

Ultimately, the production team chose to air the show without editing Park Na-rae. However, her appearance was not included in the promotional materials released that day, such as trailers, posters, and still cuts.

〈Battle of Fates 49〉 will first present four episodes on the 11th, followed by the release of episodes weekly thereafter.
