CGV to Host '2026 Academy Special Screening'... 13 Nominees to be Shown

A special screening festival will be held a month before the 98th Academy Awards, allowing audiences to meet the Oscar nominees in advance.

On the 6th, CGV announced that it will hold the '2026 Academy Special Screening' from the 11th to the 17th of next month at all 16 CGV Art House theaters nationwide. This is an opportunity to enjoy 13 major nominated films in one place ahead of the awards ceremony to be held on March 15 (local time) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, LA.

The CGV Art House '2026 Academy Special Screening' will feature a lineup centered around the nominated films that have gained attention at this year's Academy Awards, along with domestic unreleased films. The domestic unreleased films 〈Sentimental Value〉, 〈Arco〉, 〈Hamlet〉, 〈The Voice of Hind〉 to 〈National Treasure〉, 〈It Was Just an Accident〉, 〈Little Amelie〉, 〈Bugonia〉, 〈Shirat〉, 〈Cynus: The Sinners〉, 〈Ugly Sister〉, 〈One Battle After Another〉, 〈Frankenstein〉, a total of 13 films will be screened.

The '2026 Academy Special Screening' is set to be presented in 16 theaters nationwide including CGV Gangbyeon, Gwangju Sangmu, Daegu, Daejeon, Daehakro, Dongdaemun, Seomyeon, Picnic, Sinchon Artreon, Apgujeong, Yeouido, Ori, Yongsan I-Park Mall, Incheon, Cheonan Pentaport, and Chuncheon.

Customers who validate their tickets at the box office after watching this special screening will receive goods such as A3 size posters, depending on the film, on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
