Singer WOODZ (Jo Seung-yeon) has officially announced the release of his first full-length album 'Archive. 1' on the 4th, according to his agency Idam Entertainment.

This album includes double title tracks 'Human Extinction' and 'NA NA NA', along with a total of 17 songs including '00:30', 'Super Lazy', 'Daytime', 'Cause of Trouble', 'Flight', 'Bloodline', and 'Downtown'.

WOODZ participated in writing, composing, and producing all tracks, creating a musical world that encompasses various genres such as rock ballad, pop punk, jazz, and alternative R&B. WOODZ stated through his agency, "I will use this album as a starting point to signal a full-fledged leap after the 'preparation stage' so far."

The title track 'Human Extinction' poses a philosophical question about how to define humanity between completeness and incompleteness, themed around light and the duality of humans. The driving band sound leaves a strong impression. The other title track 'NA NA NA' captures the feeling of falling in love in an instant, characterized by refreshing vocals and rhythm, along with addictive bass and guitar riffs.

Coinciding with the album release, the film 〈Slide Strum Mute〉 (Slide Strum Mute), which WOODZ conceived and starred in, premiered on the 26th of last month. The film surpassed 10,000 real-time reservations before its release, and all screenings for the stage greeting and audience talk (GV) were sold out.

WOODZ debuted in 2014 as part of the group UNIQ and later participated in the Mnet audition program 〈Produce X 101〉, forming the group X1. After transitioning to a solo career, he made a significant impact with a performance of 'Drowning' during the KBS 2TV 〈Immortal Songs〉 National Armed Forces Day special while serving in the military in October 2024. The song topped major music charts and secured the number one spot in the annual Circle Chart music rankings last year, solidifying his presence as a solo artist.

During a press conference for the film 〈Slide Strum Mute〉, WOODZ expressed his ambition, saying, "I hope to become an artist that raises questions and is unpredictable, leaving a question mark in people's minds."

Meanwhile, WOODZ will kick off his world tour, which will visit 17 cities across Asia, Europe, and Oceania, starting at Inspire Arena in Incheon, Yeongjongdo on the 14th.
