
The reflections of the maestro Ryuichi Sakamoto, who burned with passion for music until the end, are coming to theaters.
〈Ryuichi Sakamoto: Diary〉 is the last cinema essay containing intimate records and unreleased music from the last 3 years and 6 months before his passing, along with reflections on life, and it will be released in South Korea on April 1. This work is expected to provide another experience for his devoted listeners, following his live performance captured in 〈Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus〉.
The trailer and poster released alongside the announcement of the release date offer a glimpse into Ryuichi Sakamoto's passion. The poster includes parts of Ryuichi Sakamoto's actual diary, sparking curiosity about the content of the work. Additionally, the trailer features scenes of him performing in the rain, along with the written statement about the discovery of a tumor, and his voice saying, "I will continue to make music as long as I am alive," which astonishes with the maestro's unquenchable passion.
