An Irish emotional rock legend, ‘Kodaline’, to deliver a historic farewell in Seoul in August

‘Kodaline (Kodaline)’, the Irish rock band that captivated the world with lyrical melodies and overwhelming emotion, is saying goodbye to Korean fans.

The event organizer ‘LiveNationKorea’ officially announced on the 23rd that on August 12, at ‘Olympic Hall’ in Seoul’s ‘Olympic Park’, ‘Kodaline’ will present its ‘world tour’ final concert in Korea before disbanding—‘the last performance before their disbandment’. Last October, they announced the end of band activities after finishing their regular fifth album, shocking fans around the world. This show is expected to be their third concert in Korea after 2019 and 2023, and a historic stage that will capture the final chapters of their musical journey.

They started with ‘21 Demands’, the runner-up in the 2006 Irish audition program ‘You Are a Star’. After that, they leaped forward as a global band, stacking achievements with the mini album ‘The Kodaline’ named after the group in 2012 and their 2013 debut studio album ‘In a Perfect World’. What began with street busking across Ireland later expanded into world-class festivals such as Glastonbury and an arena tour, proving their distinct strength as live performers.

‘LiveNationKorea’ said, “This farewell stage for ‘Kodaline’, which has delivered deep comfort through music, will be an unforgettable moment for both the band and its fans.” The global music world’s attention is on their final steps—marking a chapter in Irish rock.
