The leading stars of 〈The Devil Wears Prada 2〉, which will be released worldwide for the first time on April 29, shared their comeback impressions through The Walt Disney Company Korea on the 30th. This sequel is set against the backdrop of the fashion magazine “Runway,” which finds itself in crisis amid a rapidly changing media landscape. Editor-in-chief Miranda (Meryl Streep) reunites with Andy (Anne Hathaway), who returns as a concept editor after 20 years, along with Emily (Emily Blunt), who has become a luxury brand executive, and the trio puts their careers on the line in a high-stakes battle to seize leadership in the fashion world. Director David Frankel, who helmed the first film, said, “From the very start, it was pure fun, and from script reading through every step of the process, everything felt magical,” sharing his standout on-set atmosphere.

The actors’ impressions are just as moving. Anne Hathaway recalled her first test and confessed, “It felt like I’d gone back to being 22 and reunited with friends from my school days.” Meryl Streep also shared an anecdote about being taken aback by the huge cheers the fans sent at the New York filming location, letting everyone feel the enduring love. Emily Blunt, who transformed into a leader of a luxury brand, described the film as “a treasure trove that brings back memories,” expressing her overwhelming emotion at returning as the character.
