Actor Heo Nam-jun showcases a character: a third-generation chaebol with neither blood nor tears in SBS’s new Fri-Sat drama 〈My Royal Nemesis〉.
Ahead of the May 8 premiere, SBS released on the 13th Heo Nam-jun’s first stills from 〈My Royal Nemesis〉.
In the released photos, Cha-seye (Heo Nam-jun) in an all-black suit is seen pushing through protestors in front of the company. He blocks eggs thrown at him with an umbrella while revealing a chilling gaze without any change in expression, clearly showing the character’s personality.
Cha-seye, played by Heo Nam-jun, is the grandson of Cha Dal-su (Yoon Ju-sang) of the Cha-il Group, a character who declares that “marriage is about mergers and acquisitions.” For the sake of his goals, he spares no means, earning nicknames like “a monster born from capitalism” and “a ruthless tycoon.”
Drama 〈My Royal Nemesis〉 is a romantic comedy about what happens when Cha-seye becomes entangled with an unknown actor, Shin Seori (Im Ji-yeon), who is possessed by the spirit of one of the Joseon Dynasty’s most notorious wicked women (Kang Dan-sim).
〈My Royal Nemesis〉 brings together Director Han Tae-seop, who previously helmed 〈Strawberry Brigade〉 〈Chiirup〉, and debut writer Kang Hyun-ju, with Studio S and Gil Pictures co-producing. The first episode is set to air at 9:50 PM on May 8.
