TVXQ proved its firm presence on the 20th anniversary of its debut by drawing 130,000 fans over two days at Nissan Stadium, Japan’s largest concert venue.

After wrapping up its third solo concert ‘Red Ocean’ (RED OCEAN) on the 25th, TVXQ expressed deep gratitude toward fans, saying, “It’s the biggest luxury you can enjoy as an artist.” Changmin shared an emotional takeaway, saying, “Popularity can’t last forever, but after more than 20 years of activities, I’m happy that we can spend such a special time in a huge concert hall like this.”

At the concert that day, the two members poured out more than 30 hit songs over about three and a half hours. They had audiences roaring as they swept through the stadium filled with the red wave—symbolic of the team—without looking the least bit worn out. Yunho responded to fans’ warm hearts, saying, “Seeing fans’ laughter and tears in front of such an overwhelming scale made my heart feel full.”

After debuting in 2003, they kept their place at the very top while moving back and forth between Korea and Japan. From the early days of their Japanese expansion—starting with smaller stages—they gradually built up their footing. This concert served as the grand finale for the 20th anniversary project of their Japanese debut, while also marking a meaningful celebration of their 21st anniversary.

Their stage manners were just as explosive as they were 20 years ago. Yunho and Changmin sprinted across the wide stadium at full speed, singing Japanese debut song ‘Somebody To Love’.

Yunho said, “If you think logically, it’s hard, but adrenaline gets pumping and I just run.” He added, “Doing your best on any stage is TVXQ’s true strength.” Their sincerity—promising to repay fans’ expectations with their whole bodies, whether they were doing well or not—once again captured the hearts of 130,000 spectators.
