End of the century in 1999. Neighborhood nobodies who happened to gain superpowers go all out to defend the world by standing up to the villains threatening peace. 〈Wonderfools〉 revealed the main poster and teaser trailer.

The released main poster captures the members of “Eunchae-ni” (Eunbin Park), “Yoon Jung” (Eunwoo Cha), “Son Kyung-hoon” (Choi Dae-hoon), and “Gang Ro-bin” (Sungjae Im) against the backdrop of Haeseong City, which has fallen into chaos at the end of the century when doom-saying ruled. From “Chae-ni” leading the charge to “Un-jung,” who uses telekinesis; “Kyung-hoon,” whose hand has become attached to a car’s steering wheel; and “Robin,” who has a portion of the wall clamped to his arm. Fans’ expectations are building for “TEAM Wonderfools,” as the four will combine their individual superpowers to save Haeseong City from crisis. And amid the chaos where cars fly through the sky and buildings and billboards collapse, “Chae-ni” spotted in multiple places sparks curiosity about how he’ll use the instant-movement ability he’s gained. In addition, the tagline, “Idiot superpower guys save the world,” heightens curiosity about the fun chemistry the four of Haeseong City will bring.

The main teaser trailer released together begins with “Chae-ni,” who asks, “So… am I really going to die for real?” The Haeseong City of 1999 has an “official total mess” named “Chae-ni” who shouts that he wants to see the end of the world. He ends up moving onto a ship from the middle of a collapsing greenhouse, and then gets teleports that even drop him from inside a wardrobe straight into the Joseon Dynasty era. Meanwhile, “Robin,” who gets flustered when a can he casually throws punches through a wall, and “Kyung-hoon,” whose feet get stuck to the floor, show the everyday lives of three people in Haeseong City who end up living with changes brought on by an accidental superpower—raising even more questions about their story. Then, the three who happen to witness “Un-jung” using telekinesis so effortlessly start calling him “Master” and chasing after him, while “Un-jung,” flustered, tries to get away—pushing expectations even higher for the unpredictable chemistry they’ll deliver.

Meanwhile, just like 20 years ago, with ominous words about people disappearing, “Professor Ha-won-do” (Hyun-ju Son) and the three-person trio “Boon-deo-kin-deo” appear. It builds tension as we wonder what story they’re hiding. With growing curiosity about what abilities they have and what kind of threat those abilities will bring to Haeseong City, “Chae-ni” says, “It’s not like nothing— I just haven’t done anything yet.” His line cross-cuts with the four of Haeseong City standing up to their chaotic threats, heightening expectations for how they’ll ultimately save the world.
