For his younger brother, Uhm Tae-hwa has stepped in with support.
In the film 〈Wild Thing〉, Uhm Tae-hwa and his older-brother brother Uhm Tae-goo unveiled the schedule for the fourth installment of 'Laughter Chart In GV,' a set of events they share together. 〈Wild Thing〉 depicts the journey of a three-member mixed-gender dance group, Triangle, which was dismantled overnight, as it heads out once again to take the stage. In the film, Uhm Tae-goo appears as Triangle’s rapper, Gu Sang-gu, drawing laughter from audiences.
The fourth edition of 'Laughter Chart In GV' prepared by 〈Wild Thing〉 will feature Uhm Tae-hwa, the older brother of Uhm Tae-goo and a film director who directed 〈Concrete Utopia〉. The event, with Jinmyeong-hyeon Movement CEO Hyun Jin-hyeon serving as moderator, is expected to deliver it all—from an analysis of the Gu Sang-gu character through the eyes of a fellow performer, to the director Uhm Tae-hwa’s candid impressions of the film 〈Wild Thing〉, and even behind-the-scenes details about Uhm Tae-goo’s rapper challenge and acting reinvention witnessed through the perspective of a close older brother. The GV is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 26, at 7 p.m. at CGV Yongsan iPark Mall.
〈Wild Thing〉 opened on June 3 and is currently in theaters, drawing strong popularity with 'LOVE IS' performed by Triangle’s Kang Dong-won, Park Ji-hyun, and Uhm Tae-goo, and 'You Like Me,' sung by Oh Jung-se as Choi Seong-gon.
