Ahn Jae-hong Named Promotion Ambassador for the 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, “JIMFFACE,” Promising a High-End Synergy With Executive Director Jang Hang-jun

Ahn Jae-hong steps out as the “face” of the Jecheon film festival.

The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) announced on June 22 that actor Ahn Jae-hong has been selected as this year’s promotion ambassador. Selected as JIMFF’s JIMFFACE, Ahn said, “I’ve been getting a lot of comfort and inspiration through movies and music,” adding that, “Together with Executive Director Jang Hang-jun, whom everyone likes, I’ll become a strong supporter for the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival that I’ve always had affection for.”

The reason expectations are especially high for Ahn’s work as JIMFFACE is that Executive Director Jang Hang-jun—who directed and worked together with Ahn on “Rebound” and “King and the Man Who Lives With the King,” among other projects—is currently serving as JIMFF executive director. Jang said, “I’ve liked the human characters that Ahn Jae-hong has portrayed so far,” and “There’s an actor with the power to make even ordinary people special with their own color.” He continued, “Given that he has both friendliness and broad appeal, I expect he will show good synergy with the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival,” raising awareness of Ahn’s presence.

The 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, taking place from Sept. 3 to 8 in and around Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, is currently recruiting participating projects for the country’s only film-music-focused market, “Jecheon Music Film Market (2026 JIMFF Music Film Market),” as well as film music composers.
