A revolution made on smartphones, the first Seoul stop by a genius who conquered the Grammys

This Korea appearance is part of a large-scale world tour celebrating the release of his third studio album "Oh Yeah?(Oh Yeah?)", which will roll out next month. On a stage that the global music scene is paying close attention to, he will not only unveil live performances of new songs for the first time, but also present a diverse set list that includes the mega hit "Bad Habit" and "Dark Red", both of which captivated both mainstream audiences and music critics alike and smashed global Billboard charts.

"Steve Lacy", born in Compton, California in 1998, burst onto the scene after joining as the guitarist for "The Internet", the iconic band that symbolized the alternative R&B scene in 2015. Beginning in 2017, he charted his path as a full-fledged solo artist and started building his own distinct musical identity. In particular, it was revealed that his first solo mini album "Steve Lacy's Demo" was completed on most tracks using only a smartphone, rather than expensive studio equipment, sending a fresh shock through the world’s music industry.

His musical evolution fully blossomed with his second studio album "Gemini Rights", released in 2022. Freely crossing between indie rock, jazz, and R&B, the album produced a standout performance by landing at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard Main Album Chart, "Billboard 200". Moreover, at the 65th Grammy Awards, he won the "Best Progressive R&B Album" category, perfectly proving that he has firmly established himself not just as a trendsetter but as a world-class master representing the present era.
