Zendaya and Robert Pattinson's film 〈The Drama〉 is set to open in South Korea in September, with the release date confirmed alongside the unveiling of its first poster.

〈The Drama〉 is a romantic thriller about a couple, Emma (Zendaya) and Charlie (Robert Pattinson), whose final week before their wedding spirals into unpredictable chaos as hidden pasts come to light. Zendaya plays Emma, whose shocking history emerges just before she marries her first love, Charlie; Pattinson plays Charlie, who grows unsettled as he confronts Emma's unfamiliar past. Both actors delicately portray the cracks in the couple's unstable relationship.

The film is written and directed by Christopher Bogli, with Ari Aster—who established a distinctive genre voice with 〈Hereditary〉 and 〈Midsommar〉—serving as a producer. International critics have praised its complex structure, which borrows the trappings of romantic comedy to probe the hidden dynamics and psychology of relationships.

Produced by A24, 〈The Drama〉 grossed about 200,000,000,000 won worldwide at the time of its North American release last April. That total surpassed the opening-weekend grosses of A24's hits 〈Hereditary〉 and 〈Everything Everywhere All at Once〉 and ranked No. 3 in A24 history for opening-weekend receipts, underscoring that the film proved both popular appeal and artistic merit.

The first poster shows Emma wearing a wedding ring on her left ring finger as Charlie holds her, both staring straight ahead with an intense gaze. An ironic tagline—"You are cordially invited"—adds to the image, heightening curiosity about the couple's secrets and the dramatic events that will follow.

The film 〈The Drama〉 opens in September.
