〈The Drama〉 is a romantic thriller about a couple, Emma (Zendaya) and Charlie (Robert Pattinson), whose final week before their wedding spirals into unpredictable chaos as hidden pasts come to light. Zendaya plays Emma, whose shocking history emerges just before she marries her first love, Charlie; Pattinson plays Charlie, who grows unsettled as he confronts Emma's unfamiliar past. Both actors delicately portray the cracks in the couple's unstable relationship.

The film is written and directed by Christopher Bogli, with Ari Aster—who established a distinctive genre voice with 〈Hereditary〉 and 〈Midsommar〉—serving as a producer.
