Lovey Magic from Hatchyping Takes Over the Morning News… “Love Hatchyping: The Legend of Whale Gems” Brings a Weather Caster to the Screen

Hatchyping meets viewers as a daily weather caster.

The movie 〈Love Hatchyping: The Legend of Whale Gems〉 said on July 31 that Hatchyping will take on the role of a weather caster through JTBC’s morning broadcast. Hatchyping will deliver that day’s weather as a weather caster right after the morning program’s anchor introduction remarks on Monday, Aug. 3, at 7:30 a.m. The “Hatchyping-style weather forecast,” featuring Hatchyping’s signature lovable voice and character costume, is expected to offer a fresh kind of enjoyment to viewers during summer vacation mornings.

Released in theaters on Aug. 5, 〈Love Hatchyping: The Legend of Whale Gems〉 is a fantasy animation that tells the story of Romi and Hatchyping’s miraculous adventure to save the mother who vanished into the sea. It is a follow-up to 〈Love Hatchyping〉, which hit theaters in 2024 and sparked a sensation. In addition to Hatchyping and Romi, who became friends in the original, new characters Kite and Ahijyo will join to unleash their on-screen chemistry.

Directed by Kim Soo-hoon as in the original, 〈Love Hatchyping: The Legend of Whale Gems〉 will meet audiences next Wednesday, Aug. 5.
