Back after 1 year and 5 months… Up to four jazz live shows scheduled for next month

Kim Yoon-a, the front person of South Korea’s leading band “Jaurim”, steps in front of the public with a solo concert that breaks a long stretch of silence lasting 1 year and 5 months and carries the feel of autumn.

The agency “NOL Universe” said in an official announcement on the 4th that it will hold the solo concerts “Coffee and Cigarette” at the main hall of the Unjeong Green Campus of Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul from next month’s 5 to 6, and again from 12 to 13. It is a meaningful chance to breathe with fans again after last April.

The title of this show, “Coffee and Cigarette”, was created based on lyrics from the legendary jazz number “Black Coffee”. With her uniquely inimitable vocals, “Kim Yoon-a” is expected to tackle a wide range of jazz repertoire and deliver a dense live performance that stirs up the eerie autumn mood.

Separate from her commanding charisma on stage, she has recently continued candid communication with the public through her YouTube channel “Jaurimssi Oe2myeong”. Observers in the music industry and fans alike are focusing on her upcoming jazz concert, as she keeps expanding her own musical worldview by moving back and forth between on-stage and off-stage moments.
